Why did I start Kovach Publications? The short answer is simple economics, but eventually I hope to publish more books and it makes Uncle Sam happy if I can show that I'm keeping my business work separate from my personal life.
It's also your guarantee that I'm going to really donate the money to charity that I say I will. The tax records of the company will be public records.
Having a business also makes it much easier to generate contacts and deal with other businesses. Plus it's kind of cool to be able to give out your email address. :-)
I certainly never thought when I began to write Rebecca's journal that I would end up with a successful business three years later. I still have a long way to go before I can quit working my regular full time job in IT, but it's a start.
Kovach Publications is located in our home in Freeport,PA, and I really enjoy the fact that my home "office" is the easy chair or anywhere else I happen to be. I appreciate the fact that you've taken the time to share my dream with me.
